DrivingSAT NAV: DH7 8PN. Follow the A690 and turn onto St John’s Road next to St John’s Church directly opposite Meadowfield Sports Centre.We’re in the first building on the right.
Free ParkingYou’ll find loads of free parking right outside Colourful Chameleons. If you find the car park full, you’re welcome to park on the hardstanding that runs adjacent to it.
Public TransportLocal buses stop less than 100 metres away and run between Durham and Brandon, Crook, Stanhope and New Brancepeth. Ask for St John’s Church, Meadowfield.
FacilitiesToilets: We have toilets located in the lobby one of which is wheelchair accessible.
Baby change: There are baby changing facilities in the main toilet in the lobby
Accessibility: The main studio is wheelchair and push chair accessible. Our function room is upstairs, if you’re attending an event taking place and have access concerns please give us a call and we’ll find a solution.
RefreshmentsWe serve amazing RIJO42 coffee and a range of teas along with a selection of cold drinks. During your visit you must try one of our selection of delicious, award-winning cakes! We always have Coeliac UK-licenced gluten free options available (which just so happen to be Great Taste Award winners too!).
PricesCeramic items start at £5 and you’re welcome to stay as long as you like during term-time weekdays. During busier periods such as weekends, school and bank holidays we may allocate a two hour slot when you arrive, unless of course you’re painting more than one piece! If you’d like us to look after an item so you can return another day and finish it we would charge £5 holding fee per piece for the second visit – unless you chose another piece to paint while you’re here!
